Top Tips from Part 3
- The two most important words we can apply to the toys, materials and activities we choose are OPEN-ENDED
- Boredom is a key for developing creativity and imagination
- Child’s interests + free time + space + open-ended materials = PLAY!
- Child - led play ensures your child is motivated and stays engaged for long periods of time
- Invitations to play and create are a prompt to capture your child’s interest
- Loose parts are an amazing addition to your toy collection and are often freely accessible
